Tired of predictable?
Tired of cliche?
Tired of the same old wedding music video or business commercial?
SO ARE WE!
Imagine for a moment you could see not only highlights of your grandparents’ wedding, but their first encounter or first date. Spending time doing something they love or see for yourself what attracted them to each other. Seeing them at the prime of life, young, energetic, full of vigor would be a priceless gift! Though we can’t recapture that for past generations, you can provide it to your children and grandchildren! Cinematic videography allows us to collaborate and create a priceless piece of history for you to pass along. At Storyteller Videography, we love to tell stories… not of just your wedding day, but about your relationship. We will dig deeper and commit incredible energy into creating a unique piece of your family legacy you’ll be excited to share.
We don’t make commercials for your business, we help you create connections by engaging your viewers in an “outside the box” way of communicating your core message.*
We don’t do cookie cutter, we craft original, creative, engaging films which are outside of ordinary and beyond expectations.
If you have a story to tell, we’d love to help you tell it!
Mike Thole has been working in video since high school when he helped to create Volume2 of the first video yearbook in the country at Stillwater High School in Minnesota. After working with video on and off over a 19 year teaching career in the St. Paul School District, he left the classroom to start a business in post production. Mike worked on wedding films behind the scenes for three years with eMotion Cinematography (MN/AZ) helping them establish their footprint in the Twin Cities market. Because of his desire to tell original stories with his own unique spin through the art of digital video, Storyteller Videography was born in the fall of 2013! In the spring of 2016 Storyteller was selected as a top 10 wedding videographer in Minnesota. In March of 2017, Storyteller won the top prize in “Best City Wedding” category at the 2017 MN Wedding Video Awards. To hone his craft, Mike has attended trainings with StillMotion, among the pioneers in cinematic wedding production and the originator of the “story first” philosophy, Ray Roman one of the top 10 wedding videographers in the world, and Matt Brue of nationally known Capture Studios based in Minneapolis.
